About Jamauri Bogan

CEO and founder

Jamauri obtained a graduate degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. In his final year at college, Jamauri acquired a real estate sales license and founded a construction firm dedicated to revitalizing blighted single-family homes in Kalamazoo’s core neighborhoods. These initiatives have been transformative, yielding sales exceeding $2.5 million and integrating a sense of community development into the firm’s ethos.

Recognizing Jamauri’s expertise, the City of Kalamazoo approached him in 2020 with a significant opportunity: to redevelop brownfield sites in the Northside Neighborhood. Jamauri envisioned a project at 315 E Frank St that would include not just buildings, but hope and opportunity– through youth programming and affordable housing.

Beyond physical infrastructure, Jamauri is dedicated to changing the life trajectory of the Northside community’s youth. His collaboration with the Parks and Rec’s “All Things Possible” program allowed 25 children from core neighborhoods to engage with real estate professionals to learn about various aspects of the field.

Jamauri serves on the Community Homeworks Board of Directors, the Western Michigan University Athletics Advisory Board, and the Western Michigan University Real Estate Committee.
